Bottle shared thanks to sic1314. Pours clear amber with a ring off white head. Aroma of caramel, wood, soft whiskey barrel, sweet malts and honey. Flavor is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the Guildford Arms. It pours deep amber brown with a small white head. The nose is whisky, wood, vanilla, caramel, earth and leather. The taste is caramel, wood, raisin, blended whisky, leather, varnish, cherry cola and fruit cake with a short, woody finish. Medium body , low carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Ok, sort of Innes & Gunn style. Probably a bit better though.

330ml bottle - poured a pleasing brown with small head which quickly thinned. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is sweet malt with hints of toffe and vanilla. Overall pretty decent, and certainly doesn’t belie its 7% abv. Marks off for the clear bottle though

33cl bottle from Stockbridge Market. Appearance - amber with a thin layer of lace. Nose - malt with a hint of spice. Sweet alcohol note too. Taste - prunes in alcohol maybe into fruit cake. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a reasonably clean finish considering the alcohol. Overall - decent but Eden have brewed many better.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours golden brown with thin white head. Subtle aromas, fruit cake, toffee malts. Not much whisky going on. Touch of vanilla. Not much else happening. OK.
