Mit 7,8 % Alk. hat dieses Steam Brew Bier tatsächlich ordentlich Dampf. Recht rötliche Farbe, für mich auch etwas zu dunkel um wirklich „Pale“ zu sein. Sehr hopfig, fruchtig, leicht malzig, leichte Sherry-Nuancen. Fängt leicht an, ab dem Mittelteil recht schwere Substanz. Ist OK, aber mehr auch wirklich nicht. Hab ich die letzten Wochen insgesamt 3 Dosen von getrunken, um es objektiv bewerten zu können - aber das war es dann auch, brauch ich nicht noch mal. Das Bier führt den guten Gedanken der hinter Craft Beer steht komplett ad absurdum. Craft Beer aus der industriellen Großbrauerei Eichbaum. Das ganze hab ich in der (zugebenermaßen sehr schick designten) 0,5 l Dose für nur 79 Cent beim Lidl gekauft - das ist für ein Bier dieser Stärke und Hopfigkeit durchaus ein echtes Schnäppchen.

Hazy golden. Aroma is slight herbal elderflower with wet cardboard and some sweet syrup with ugly juice. Taste is bitter ugly juice with some sweet syrup. A little brause in the finish. But mostly ugly bitter juices. Nah.

Can via Lidl. Surprisingly clean, which is both a good thing, and bad. This is as far from Imperial IPA, as one can possibly imagine a pale beer being. No hops character at all. Moderate bitterness, barely enough to balance the med-full body. Light rotten apples and vomit, but not much really. The ABV is hidden very well, really dangerously drinkable - which was the goal of this beer I suspect. Making a cheap beer that attracts people who want to get shitfaced for little money. It is successful in this task, not much else to go on about though. Okay.

50 cl can from Lidl. Okay, this is industrial beer from Lidl, I acknowledge that; but -such a low rating? C'mon guys, this is not that bad. It ain't good, of course, but it ain't th shit the score gives away. Anyway: a crystal clear amber pour with a long-standing off-white head. Aroma is not too strong: earth, cereal, grass, piney, a hint of dank. Dry, slick, mellow and rather bitter and long-lingering. I could have two in a row, honestly.

0,5 ml can from Lidl. Red golden in the glass, more than ine finger white foamy head. Low grain and some citrus on the nose. Taste is a litte bit roasty malty, fruity, grain and nuts, some black tea. On a low level. Also the 7.8 % abv are not really existing. Still a cheap beer. Okay, it doesn´t hurt ...

Can. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes malt, caramel, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
