Brimming Bin is a Wild Ale brewed in collaboration with our friends from Carton Brewing in New Jersey aged on Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc Grapes. This beer pour a dark golden yellow with slight haze and noticeable effervescence. Bringing the glass to the nose presents distinct aromas of chamomile, sweet pear, rustic bread, and dried orange peel with a subtle grassy funk. The palate unfolds with layers of ripe apricot, tart gooseberry, tangerine and crisp pome fruit. Mildly sour with a medium body and fizzy carbonation, Brimming Bin has a off-dry finish with a touch of minerality.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is fruity with plenty of white grape, some green apple, white wine, light funk, some tart gooseberry. Flavour is tart and moderate sour with a hint of sweetness. Medium body. Hardly a sign of the 11%. Very nice, vinous, grape all over the place.

20/dec/2018, tasted 2024-apr-05 aroma is brett and cheese - camenbert or brie. good cheese. herbal notes, grapes. Not your ordinary wild ale aroma. flavor is white wine, wood, light brett, malts. Has the bitterness and grape-i-ness of white wine, but also some bretty notes and a not so subtle hint of alcohol. packs a punch, tastes anything else than thin and watery. Makes me think this could be the barley wine of sour beers. not bad. but very different.

The sixth of twenty beers for our 10th wedding anniversary. Naira's. Bottle 0.33l, four and half year aged. Lightly cloudy, deep gold colored. AROMA- sour, white grapes, quite funky, lots of muscatel, lightly herbal. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly sour, slightly tart finish, a bit sharp, warming, sugar, white grapes, muscatel, dried sweet white grapes, spicy hops. Fuller bodied. Well, not great, still very good.

Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma is vinous, funky. Sweet sugary grapes. Copper gold. A few translucent white bubbles on top. Medium-heavy sour. Vinous. Grapes and tart citrus. Underlying bitter streak. A pepperiness. An earthiness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Delivers what I expected - a particularly vinous affair. I feel I should be giving it a higher score due to the price I paid but for me it was perfectly servicsble but not out of this world.
