Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: pale yellow cardboard haziness with a two finger white foamy head which settled down at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, oranges, mangoes and lemon hop notes; light clean malts with some creaminess
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes white grapey & orangey juicy and somewhat dry
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness with good level of creaminess in there
Overall: nicely done NEDIPA worthy of coming back to.

Can (1/25/24) pour from One Stop Market. Deeply hazy dark yellow with trace sparkle, thin head quickly fading to cap and trace lacing. Aroma is winey grape, yeast and citrus. Taste is strong winey grape, citrus. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nice expression of Nelson but not complex and the lactose and oats don't seem to add much.

Sample at the Roost, translucent lemon yellow. Vinous and lemony, light hop, some booze, some pineapple. Grain bill is a touch too simple, thin, oily, booze. Tropical flavors, lemon, straw. Ok. 7 2 7 2 11

16 oz can. The aroma and flavor go hand-in-hand. Orange, mango, and very mild herb bitterness to remind you it is a true IPA. Mouthfeel is creamy with a smooth velvet like texture. Lactose doesnβt show in the flavor. Very balanced. Very easy to drink.

Canned 1/25/24, drunk 2/9/24. Heavily hazy, pale-bronze-golden. Small, off-white head, moderate-to-low retention. Melon, spice, white wine, tangerine juice and mango. Soft honey-like malt with some cracker, as well. Don't get the lactose. Oat doesn't seem to cause it to be too bland. The spicey Nelson character is really nicely-done. Clean, no resin or alcohol. Juicy, spicy (lightly) with papaya, white grape and yet heavy pineapple-melon which is slightly off-putting to start. Soft honey and light biscuit from the malt gently balances and is well-attenuated. Light burst of lactose with more tropical fruit on the finish. Were it not for that punchy pineapple character that I really can't stand, this would be exceptional. Gets a bit sweet as the glass goes on and it warms up more.
