Foeder-aged American wild ale with guava
Slightly sweet, very tart, and deliciously bright— Frucht: Guava is a wild ale made with bountiful amounts of fresh guava. Gaining complexity and funk from time spent in our 250 bbl oak foeders, this tropical ale is the perfect sipper in any season. We proudly never kettle sour so you can better enjoy all the funky, wild character native to the style.

Bottle at home from Csakajó, kind of an LCI. Pours deep opaque golden with white head. Nose is beautiful, refined tart fruits, a touch of lactic acid and some brett as well, a touch of wood too. Taste is sour, and I mean really sour with hints of guava, some brett and that woody touch again. Very well balanced and nicely layered. Closes with a long lasting fruity sour character, has light body and soft to average carbonation. Nice and round, highly enjoyable but also sour as fuck.

bottle, famillie rue 2018 , tasted feb 07 2024 so well aged bottle. aroma is tart and sour, complex, some of the sourness seems less refined than belgian sours, sort of more like urine less like citrus, fresh fruits, vanilla as it warms up, marzipan, very complex, not just sour complexity lots of woody warm spicy vanilla coconut etc.like notes too. yeasty note. flavor is quite sour and tart, faint rubbery note, leather, acidic citrussy sourness, fruity leathery sourness, woody faint yeasty note, flavors all mixed up in this old bottle, at times a bit white vineous, seriously complex and layered, a sipping sour that will keep you occupied for quite a while. Not the cleanest or the best flavor, but for sure will keep me going back to the bottle for more exploration.

375 ml bottle. Cloudy dark orange, foamy quickly disappearing head. A lot of passion fruit, cactus fig, papaya, guava, carrot, lime juice, lactic acid, white balsamic vinegar, basement notes, some funk. Acidic fruity sourness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry sour finish with a lot of tropical fruits coming through. Outstanding.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of guava, lacto, and wheat. The flavor is sour with notes of guava, wheat, lemons, and lacto, leading to a tart finish.

Taste at a share. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is lime, guava, syrup, hay, and pineapple. Sweet and very tart. Light body, with a syrupy, crisp palate. Quite fruity, and a little overly aggressive. Tasty.
