A massive Imperial IPA that will leave your palate its hapless victim. Dry and stupendously hopped, Arctic Panzer Wolf is brewed with Canadian 2-row malt, dextrose sugar, and lots of American hops, giving it superior aromas of marmalade, white peach, pine, and apricot to balance the intense hop bitterness. Scorched earth is our brewery policy.

Taste is fully citrus, zesty hops, fruity hops, fluffy, fruity hops, grapefruit, caramel, pine, not too bitter & fruity enough, still some bitter fruits in the back. Fluffy body, nice DIPA.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Hazy orange color, small to medium sized white head. Smell malts, hops, grapefruit and pine. Taste malts, hops, lightly pine, quite heavy but really good. Full body and full carbonation.

Bottle at home - 26/11/12 (thanks to George in NC). Opaque mid amber with a thin off white head that doesn’t even bother to fuck about at the edges choosing to form a small film in the middle of the glass! Nose is more subdued than I’d expected. Pine, hops, caramel malts, light traces of bitter tropical fruits, lasting mineral whiff. Tastes of mango, bitter grapefruit, light hint of pineapple, hops, bitter sweet orange, pine, caramel malts, touch of booze - a mighty fine cacophony of flavours! Full end of medium bodied, soft carbonation spot on for a DIPA leading to a bitter assualt on the palate as you drive it home!

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. It’s almost clear in the glass, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has grapefruits, a generic citrus fruit touch and pine cones, and some notes of malts. The flavor is semi-sweet with lots of bitterness, a touch of alcohol and lots of grapefruit. Full body with nice carbonation, and a mostly bitter finish. A really nice beer, both tasteful and pleasant, well worth a revisit. 120511

Sample at the DBLDP on 09/02/2012: This beer pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and bready malt. Medium to full body with a piney hops character and notes of grapefruit and grainy malt. The finish is citrusy hops with a lingering bitter finish. Good beer all around.

Thanks to my secret santa for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Wonderful fruity-hoppy aroma. Starts intense hoppy with some fruity hints of grapefruit, some lemon. Modest dry. Finish less dry, almost a bit sweet. Well balanced. Great IIPA.
