The base of this bourbon barrel aged imperial stout was brewed last Halloween with our buddies at Arizona Wilderness and aged for 1 year in Willett Barrels giving it a great bourbon forward character. The Silver Version was then conditioned on pecans and vanilla.

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, thanks to Tips - Watford, 25/06/21. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is chocolate, brown sugar melt, light bourbon strokes, vanilla, spice, dark malts. Taste comprises dark fruits, boozey tunes, mellow roast, bourbon nip, dark chocolate, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid stuff.

25th June 2021 Tasting at Fergus gaff. Thanks to Tips. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Big bourbon snout. Fairly light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Whooo. One of those bourbon barrel Impys that just shouts quality from the get go. Big dark chocolate coated bounty bar. Mild spice. Fruity bourbon barrel on the back end. Quite a light finish. All comes together very well. Slight burn at the very end.

On tap at the brewery. Pours pitch black. Chocolate, boozy red fruit, vanilla, touch of harsh booze, nutty, pecans, gorgeous boozy vanilla notes, touch of toast. Decent body. Way better balanced than the peanut butter one, really impressed.
