Some wheat. Just a little sweet. I was surprised to taste the wheat in this beer. German yeast I think. Light malt body. Very light hop presence, I thought I was drinking an oktoberfest.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a medium off white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is caramel malt with licorice and raisin. Thin mouthfeel with a dry malt flavor with caramel and a nice sweet finish. Easy to drink, hiding the alcohol well, a good amber ale from Pyramid

Pours a clear amber with a fizzy light brown head that goes away completly and leaves no lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel malts and a bit of graham cracker. Taste starts off with some caramel and some banana flavors, light spices but finishes very sweet with notes of cardboard. Fizzy and water like.

Bottle. Copper-amber beer with an off-white head. Low rich malt aroma with a bit of darker malts. Malt flavor with some toastiness and some backing citrus. Medium body. Malt and some bready tones linger with a bit of citrus.

Interesting name for an amber ale. Slaggish with some mild hops in the aroma. Color is clear and somewhat like iced tea. Taste is somewhat like slag too, in its own special way. Quite like a stronger lager. Does not hide the 6.5% alky well. Malt and hallertau al the way. Big strongish taste bud impact. Difficult for a lager lover to endure at times. Medicinal finish but not hoppy medicinal. Glad to have had the chance to taste it but probably would not buy again. Probably stronger than most amber ales, the style its listed under. Most likely should be in a strong something category.

Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with some caramel and light hops. Molassas and caramel flavor, very light hops. Medium body with fairly low carbonation and a fairly smooth finish.

Draft: Pours a true amber with a small beige head and decent lacing. Nose is mild of caramel, malt, and hops. Tasted hoppier than I expected, a decent amount of hops with caramel, malts, and light floral tones. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Poured deep red amber with lasting foamy white head. Faint biscuity aroma. Malty body but rather thin. Hopped finish that doesn’t make up for the thin body. A fairly ordinary ale.
