I’ll be the first to admit that I was probably way too kind to this one. I’ve had much better lambics, but for some reason I rated this one higher than I should have. Smooth lambic along the lines of Lindemans. A little too sugary. Rated 10/8/04 Originally 4.5

Orange with some bubbles. Very sweet aroma of candied peaches. Sweet sugary peach flavor. Not so bad for something so sweet, but it needs more lambic and less sugar.

Light hazy yellow lambic with a white collapsing head. Brutal peach menthol aroma, like Clorets. Peach and toothpaste taste, like drinking OJ after brushing, rather tart and chemical. Watery bodied. April 2005. Bought in Halifax.

Undated Bottle. Wow, I’m surprised at the ratingo on this one, seems people actually dont mind this crap. Anyways, it pours a light amber-peach, rosy and warm-hued but extremely clear and bubbly, with a small fizzy white head that disappears rapidly. Aroma of strong musty socks mixed with sharp, strong, dry peach esters to the max. Flavor starts out immensely dry of dry, tart, stale peaches. No sweetness in this and a bittersweet, almost spoiled fermenting fruit flavor. The peach flavor is there, but it’s not fresh, it’s not real, and it’s not subtle. Sharp and stinging, this dosent make for a very palatable beer. Finishes with a hint of sweetness, but it also finishes with an awfully artificial lightly syrupy candy flavor. A bit plasticy as well.

8Oz Bottle Pours a very light sparkling yellow/amber. Flavor is of sweet peach and not much else. Flavor is not very sweet at all. Malt and grain, not very peachy tasting and kind of bitter. Sour. Not near the quality of the Lindemans lambics. As a matter of fact...I agree with the prev rater...not much like a Lambic at all. Aftertaste is bitte, fizzy and not very pleasant. My expectations were not that high...but it didn’t meet them.
