Bottled. Well, it certainly smells nice, but this became the first of 3 "Michigan Raspberry" beers I tried this day that were kind of a letdown. This had a pale pink cast to it that detracted from the nice berry nose. Can't say I see much Belgian in it, and sorry to say it's close to a Leinenkugel Berry Weiss.
But I do want to report that Celis was purchased by Michigan Brewing and is now made in Webberville. Being as most of the Celis production goes back to Texas, I would be uncertain about the label referring to it as a "malt beverage with natural flavors." Actually had this bottle right at the brewery taphouse; they brought it out because it was off the taps.

Orange-yellow. Vinuous, sweet with sweet raspberry flavour and an alcoholic punch.

I pretty much only like fruit beers when the beer itself is rather tart (i.e. lambic) and the sweet fruit is used to offset that...such is not the case here. This one is a light refreshing but restrained wheat with plenty of fizzy raspberry flavor and aroma. Not unpleasant but difficult to drink more than 10oz. Wine coolerish.

Quite pleasant. Could do with a touch more complexity but a job well done nonetheless.
