Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a large yellow white head that produced some lacing. The aroma was caramel, strong lemon, yeast and pepper. The flavor was tart, and bitter with lemon, pepper and yeastiness mixing. The finish was long, tart lemon. Medium body. Ok.

OK, so how can anybody pass up a chance at tasting a beer named like like this? heheh Pour is looking a tad thick. Lots of gunk on the bottom of the bottle. Nice sparkling carbonation visible in this belgian ale looken kinda thing. Smell at first was alarmingly sweet but it settles down on the olfactory once it hits the glass. Quite nice feel of sizzle greets the palate on the first swig. Tries to come across like an orval but then it morphs into something more alky. Yes, each slug is that metamorphis. Strong healthy personality. oooooo, baby Does seem to have alll that alky in there fer sure, 7+%. Nope, not nearly refined as the real beldjy stuff. However, I have not tasted an imperial orval yet, perhaps this is it. Medium length medicinal finish, too much for this lager lover.

Bottle from allendodd. Thanks! Pours a lot amber with a decent fluffy white head. Interesting aroma - almost like nuts. Medium body with mild carbonation. Agree with the site; this is little like a wit; it’s standard Belgian ale. And a pretty nice one it is. I don’t usually get the "bubblegum" references, but this time it fits. Pretty spicey, pretty hoppy, pretty tastey. Coriander is noticeable.

Bottle. Dark gold body with a white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is dominated by spice and hops — clove, orange, coriander, flowers. Hints of caramel, banana, vanilla and honey. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. The combination of hops and spice have a bit of a nail polish remover taste, but it’s not off-putting. Medium body with a crisp texture and fizzy carbonation. Interesting and more complex than expected — a Leffe with more spice and lots more hops.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color with a thin white head. Crisp herbal yeasty aroma, some decided sweetness. Very interesting and unique beer, par for the Furthermore course. In some ways like a Double White, with a thick malty sweetness behind the vanilla-orange peel edges. I suppose the term "bubblegum" will have to suffice in describing the sweet, herbal yeasty flavors. The spicy/herbal attributes of the beer come off pretty strong. Ginger, coriander, cinnamon..you name it. Complex and unique.

Pours with a fizzy white head and a hazy golden body. Aroma is floral and spiced with clove, coriander, citrus, kumquat, and apricot. Taste is celery, apricot, watercress and pepper. Light bubbles.

12 oz bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pour is a hazed golden orange with visible carbonation. The head is a fluffy 2 inch egg white that falls fairly quickly. Aroma of tangerine citrus, and resin pine hops. There is also a sweet floral character present, along with some fresh cut hay and wheat. Interesting nose, cross between a fresh hopped IPA and a Saison. I like it. Taste is the citrus fruit, and the wheat. The fruit is a bit more of the peel than the sweet fruit. Leads to a nice husky wheat with a bitter sweetness. Also present is some coriander notes, a touch of spiciness sprinkled on top of the other flavors. There is a bit of a sharpness to the aftertaste, it seems like alcohol, but is not really the typical heat of alcohol. Palate is medium and mouth coating. This is a very unique and well crafted brew. Thanks to Zinister for bringing these folks to my attention.

12 oz bottle from tytoanderso! Nose of cloves, brown sugar, a little corriander, and yeast; very cloudy copper with a huge offwhite head; flavor has light sweetness, cloves, a little pepperiness, caramel, and a tiny bit of hops in the finish.

Furthermore’s second best beer. Aroma of a barnyard, very Belgian in character. Flavor has lemon and lots of hops blended with spices. Refreshing and easy to drink. Aroma leads the drinker to believe it might even be sour but it doesn’t get there.
