A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth fruity ale with tropical fruits, bananas, cloves, classic. In mouth, a smooth fruity malt with citrus, mango, peaches, alcohol warmth, nice and smooth. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

12 oz bottle at a friend’s party. Cloudy yellow, nice long-lasting head but a plastic cup won’t yield to much lace. It shows a nice banana ester nose. Mixes hefeweizen with Belgian wit, a bit of bubblegum and malt. Taste is slightly sweet with fruit esters and a bit of wit spice. Slight funk.

Served on draft at the Tipsy Cow in Madison, WI at the GTMW pre-party. Pours a hazy gold color with no head. Aroma of banana, green banana, spices and yeast. The taste is tart stone fruits, banana and leafy hops. The spiciness lingers. Medium bodied.

Hazy copper - fizzy body, minimal head - nose of spices, overripe apples, wheat, very light, earthy phenols - lively texture, medium body - medium dry, with flavors of toasted grains, peppery character, light fruit sweetness - subdued spices and phenols, but rustic and earthy nonetheless - finish is moderately acidic, with lingering bitterness - tasty.

Enjoyed on tap at Frank’s Power Plant in Milwaukee, WI, where my band played at. Appearance a rather cloudy orange haze with a very thin white head. Aroma of banana, clove, and yeast...like a Belgian/weiss. Taste slightly smooth, definite hints of clove, banana and bubble gum. Just average in my opinion, maybe a little heavier than others.
