Lightly hazy bronze-yellow body is topped by a fluffy white head with strong retention.
Tons of band-aid and limey brett goodness in the nose with a touch of bready malt and light citrus. Soft lactic acid in the background. Nice and strong and perfumey and no alcohol or flaws. Not intensely funky or anything, given the bugs, but regardless, smells very inviting.
Moderate brett acids are pretty well controlled and give a moderately tart, floral flavor that is backed by light pils malt sweetness. Light on the breadiness and acidity, making it quite drinkable. Natural carbonation is fairly tight, keeping the body mostly light. Saccharormyces yeast flavors are still dominant or at least co-dominant with the brett and lacto. Really nice brett saison, nothing incredibly crazy but very delicious. Havent had a MK in about 6 years. Glad to see they are still kickin ass!

750 ml bottle shared at the RBNG by Josarah. Label writing has 7% ABV vintage is 2010. Aroma is nice. Wheat, barnyard funk, lemons and zesty yeast.

Flavor is like a hefeweizen meets a funky saison, nice! Belgian yeast with zest, wheat based backbone, lightly tart lemons, musty basement, dusty apricots, old Brett. Carbonation is still able to provide a nice effervescent mouthfeel. Really nice treat to help reset my palate after a ton of stouts and sours. Damn refreshing!

Many thanks to Armin - turbid golden beer - holy hell, this smells great - loads of pineapple and tropical fruit Brett notes, lavender and other wildflowers, light wheat, moderate funky phenols, a touch of lacto tartness - flavor is bone dry, flinty, with dusty yeastiness, light Brett funk and a lingering hint of lacto tartness that prickles the tongue - bone dry finish - fantastic stuff.

Bottle courtesy of Armin. Nice choice! Very cloudy yellow-orange appearance with a white head. Mild bretty, pineapple-orange citrusy, mildly funky, belgian yeasty nose. Pineapple-lemon citrusy, slightly funky, mild bretty, slightly tart, Belgian yeasty flavor. Light tart aftertaste. Pretty tasty saison.

Thanks to beerman6686 Dan, I had an opportunity to try this at the 2nd Pgh Tasting on the 2nd. Really nifty package, champagne bottle with little labeling, looks like a homebrew. Looks a little interesting, pale and cloudy and all. Smell is mildy farmy saison but it also has a slight tart background hiding on the olfactory. Certainly has some hops in there on the taste. During the session, that tartness pokes its head up once in a while but it certainly is not overwhelming. This makes it a pleasant beer to drink fer sure. Some medium hops on the finsh. I really enjoyed the farminess in this and when we got to the bottom of the bottle, I also enjoyed the yeast sediment, taste all its own. Thanks Dan!

Bottle shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours cloudy yellow. White head. Nose/taste of Brett, lemonzest, citrus, wood, pear and yeast. Taste is same but with lemon peel instead of zest and everything a bit muted. Mouth feel is a bit grainy.

Bottle shared by Kan, thanks! Pours a cloudy pale gold with a large white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma has a bit of spiciness and funk with a nice grain note and a bit of fruit and floral notes underlying. Flavor is a bit more earthy with a nice malt note with some brett and floral notes. There is a bit of spiciness that rounds out the beer nicely.
