Bottle at home from Tanakaya. Slightly hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is grapes, slight funk, tropical fruit, lychee maybe, spicy malt. Taste is unusual. Slightly sweet, fruity, herbal elements, slight bitterness in the finish, quite unusual. Bit of grape there as well and maybe gooseberry. And also something savoury, sour cream and chive that I taste in beers sometimes. In any case very nice, refreshing, easily drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bedow Pale Spring Ale on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. 33cl bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Very hazy orange gold with lasting thick beige head. Beautiful perfumed hoppy aroma. some ascetic hop on the finish. A bit of toasted toffee. Yes it has that toffee sweetness American APAs have which I’m not sure I like overly. I prefer a drier beer. Hops are still pretty good though. And as with virtually all Mikkeller beers it is very approachable.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy almost opaque dark orange color, small off-white head. Smell malts, hops, fruitiness. Taste malts, hops, nicely fruity, very nicely bitter. Very nice, no flaws whatsoever. Nice easy drinkable. Lovely.

Bottpe thx to benzai. Very hazy copper colour with a medium white head. Smells hoppy, fresh, sweet fruits (pineapple and peach). Lovely. Tastes hops, bitter fresh, sweet fruits. It’s like a thinner version of the Berghoeve Khoppig. Thinnish body, slightly watery, nice carbo.
