33 cl. bottle sampled / shared. Same kind of graphic design concept as with the Bedow Summer Pilsner. Once again, I don’t feel like it quite working out, meh… No point deducted for the beer since graphic stuff is a bonus. Pours a dark, amber orange with a white head. Nose is quite strongly hoppy, edging towards enough to be called an IPA, sweet grapefruit, pineapple, touch tropical, pine resin & light herbs. Taste is bitter herbs, oranges, fruity, light tropical, spices, floral flourishes, bitter fruits & tad herbs in the back. Easy to drink, quite decent.

33cl bottle from Hopduvel, BB 29/02/2014.

33 cl bottle @ home. Amber color, somewhat hazy. Off white, rocky head with long retention and some lacing. Aroma’s: resin, tropical (sour & sweet) fruit (grapefruit & pineapple), with bitterness retronasal. Flavor is bitter with just a hint of malty sweetness. Light-bodied. Finishes rather bitter, long lasting.

Bottle, shared by Meilby. It’s a lightly hazy, golden colored beer topped by an off-white to beige head of moderate size. The aroma is citrusy and peachy, with a light sugary touch, almost like you’d expect from a Belgian blonde. The flavor is lightly peachy, with some citrus peel and a nice bitterness bringing it out of balance in a nice way. Dry, medium body and nice carbonation. Bitter finish with citrus peel flavors. Well, there’s nothing special going on here, it’s sort of one dimensional, but it goes down very easily. 120511

Bottle at Asahiya. White grape nose, clean malts. Apollo hops? Red tints in golden beer. Tasty hop flavor—muscat grapes, lychee, sweet orange, and grass. Interesting fruit flavors. Good.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, small off-white foamy head, which is quite long lasting and leaves some lace. ARoma is sweet zestyness, some fruityness as well as some sweet malts and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is fruity and floral with a quite big zestyness. Mild maltyness as well. Pleasantly balanced APA!

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Kahdet Kasvot, 20120811) The beer poured amber and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had mango, peach and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were peach, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A very good fruity aroma but the taste was too musty.

Rather thick, yellowish to cream head over foxy orange beer; some lace. Fruity C-hops, grapes, passion fruit, lytchee, citrus... Bit of ureum/hessian sacks aromas. Bitter, fruity with pure citrus/-marmalade retronasal. Fruity hops utterly dominating the flavour. Very lively carbonation, quite (hopoily) slick, medium bodied; Maybe a tad too slick. It gets a kind of alcoholic fruitdrink character, this way, if on the bitter side; Refreshing, no doubt.

33cl bottle from Bierkompass. Poured hazy amber with a steady, thick white head. Perfect look. Aroma is very tropical fruity hoppy, citrus, blood orange, kiwi. Flavor has fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit. Bitter lingering finish. Light to medium body. Very sessionable. Great summer beer.
