Bottle. A- Floral, spice, yeasty. A- Golden orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Floral, spices, clove, banana. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, yeasty finish. O- Good for what it is although I'm starting to think this isn't my favorite style. Lots of yeast and spices. Hoenstly felt more like a tripel than bier de garde.

Bottle at the Stone 17th anniversary festival. Unclear orange, off-white head. Sweet nose, canned tropical fruits, white sugar. Some grassy, light piney hops. The flavor is mostly on the hoppy side, the malty sweetness lurking in the back. Sweet on the palate, full body, lightly warming. Too sweet this one, but not bad. 130817

Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. A bit too sweet and heavy to be a good saison. Some syrupy citrus and robust spice. Just not very refreshing. So so overall.

Bottle. Orange-amber beer with a cream colored head. Orange, malt, yeast, and spice aroma. Orange, malt, mineral, and light yeast flavor. Medium bodied. Orange, malt and light yeast lingers. A little dull. Yeast is too much in the background.
