Bottle from jcwattsrugger. Pours copper gold. Clear with white head. Nose and taste of applesauce, metallic chunks of hot liquid metal, aluminum and malt. Something is terribly wrong. Medium body.

12oz bottle pours a perfect clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma has sugar sweet malts and a mix of spicy hops and oily grapefruit rind. The taste is pretty hop forward with spicy hops and tart and bitter citrus hops that roll toward a brief mild note of malt graininess as well as faint sweet caramel, butterscotch and fruity esters.

A golden amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, caramel malt with faint British hopping, grassy and smooth, light citrus notes. In mouth, a good crisp malt with some light toastyness, some some British hops, crisp and refreshing, with a nice lingering light bitterness. A quaffer!

Bottle at BA Lounge, JFK Airport. It pours golden yellow with a thick foamy white head. The nose is caramel, wood, grass and hay. The taste is wood, zesty lemon, lime, grapefruit, and caramel, with a low bitter finish. It is inoffensive and has limited complexity, but is easy enough to drink.

Bottle. Pours a light amber with a soft, white head. Mostly malt aroma with some bready caramel. Sweet flavor with more caramel, plus some rye, grain and citrus hop notes. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, with hints of fruit and spice, and some herbal bitterness. Nothing too wrong here.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a large beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and fruity hops though was a bit faint. The flavor was bitter, sweet and tangy fruity hops with notes of grapefruit, mango and lemon. The finish was long, tart and fruity. Fairly full bodied. Nice.

Pours copper body with a beige head. Caramel malt aroma with some notes of yeast. Slightly sour taste, apart from which all you get in this is malts. Minimal bitterness. Some dry notes. Not a bad mouthfeel. Overall not a bad session beer if not overly complicated and special. What kind of specialty grain is it? Is it even? Can’t tell.
