16oz can shared by AdamC, via Skrip, on 7/29/17.
Again, a clear, burgundy-auburn-tinted dark mahogany with a small smattering of tan head.
Almond joy for sure, in the nose, mixes with some German Chocolate Cake characteristics and plentiful roast for balance, on the end. Lots and lots of coconut, for sure, but yet, it doesn't feel disgusting/cloying/overdone despite it being quite dominant. Seems to be pretty well-integrated with the other notes.
In the mouth it's a little stickier, roastier and more adjunct laden than the orange/vanilla version. There's a strong bitterness from the roast not seen in the other version, as well. Liqueur-like sweet/bitter elements, lots of nuttiness and some astringency on the finish. Light-bodied, though not quite thin or watery. Again, quite drinkable.

16 oz. can thanks AdamChandler on this can. The aroma is sweet coconut; maybe something between a coconut smoothie and coconut shampoo. The flavor starts with the bitterness of a Pale Ale and the coconut vanilla thing comes back at the finish along with the bitterness. Kinda mild but good.

Can from Skriip. looks like the other one of these. thick, oily. pitch black. This smells really really good. it’s an almond joy bar smell. it dominates. wow. flavor as well. thin (it is just a stout). cocoa, and a metric ton of coconut. switches to a nutty cocoa finish.

Can thanks to Grant. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong chocolate, roast, coconut. Thin body, brownie, coconut, light roast, dry finish, very good.

16 oz can thanks to Ed’s FBW contest. Aroma is chocolate, toasted coconut, dark bread. Pours dark dark brown, nearly black, with a nice tan head with good retention and some lace. Taste is sweet with flavors of chocolate and coconut. I love a good coconut stout and this is about as good as it gets.
