Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape juice and wood. Thin mouth, boozy, light grape flavor, slight metallic finish, not much going on with this one.

Bottle, cellared for 18 months. Pours hazy purple, small purple head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is grape soda and wheat. Flavor is light sweet, grape, vinous, low bitterness; a bit of grape must. Medium body, high carbonation. Not terrible.

750ml bottle tasted blind. Artificial red-wine color. Thin, foamy off-white head. Sugary chemical blueberry syrup. Tastes like a cheap wine mixed with a beer, or maybe a mead. Red cola flavor. unimpressive, one I’ll avoid. Disturbing.

Pretty much an opaque dark red beer with a tidy pale pink head. Palate is crispy and fresh, semi dry. Smooth malt, light and a perfect base for the lovely light grape. Slightly winey with touches of red and black berry fruits. Finishes light and minerally. Drinks well below it’s abv. Honestly all these shit rates? Really? Are you guys sure you are not rating the brewery instead of the beer in front of you?

Pours ruby into a tulip. No head. Red grape aromas. Thin with cold duck front to back.

Bottle at BTBF. Glad I didn’t have to pay for a whole bottle to get this tick. Pours with a pink hued body and a foamy white head. Aromas are of grapes, koolaid and VDK Diacetyl. Minimal malt, no hops. Flavors are of champagne, generic concord grapes, sulfur, lightly grainy. Sort of tastes like a crappy sangria. Lively/fizzy bubbles, dry and thin.

750 ml from a liquor store in Jackson, WY. Fancy gold foil. Pours a deep purple color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. The wheat base fits pretty well with the grape juice, some light yeast, sweet grapes. Decent.

750 ml foil-capped bottle. Expired about a month ago. Pours a pretty hazy ruby red with a purple-white head with decent retention. Smells just like red wine at first--after it sits awhile, a strange funky cheesiness sets in; smells a little like fruit gone bad, as well. Tastes like a cheap red wine--Riunite Lambrusco immediately springs to mind. A little sweet, a little sour; finishes dry and lightly bitter. Thin body, high carbonation. Along with the off-notes, there’s something missing here that would have let me look past them a bit, maybe.

Draft. Cheap red wine and wheat malt aroma. Red with pink head. Watered down red wine flavor. Like a bad red wine spritzer.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilburs Fort Collins. Pours like Strawberry Kool-aid: red violet appearance with a small pink head. Musty, nasty red grape, cheap wine, juicy, plum aroma. Boozy, tangy red grape, kind of jammy berry, light granola, shitty wine flavor. Wow, this is some rancid shit.
