Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized fluffy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar with bitey perfumey hops, bread dough and a bit of golden fruits. The flavor was sweet with bitey perfumey hops, bread dough, sugar and a hint of golden fruits. Medium length finish with lingering perfume. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

On tap at Front Door. light and citrusy, not as malty as most heller bocks. Easy drinker, lots of citrus in nose and flavor.

12 oz bottle from a six pack. Pours clear gold with a medium collapsing white head. Aroma is bready, grainy, citrus drink powder, caramel, creamed corn. Taste is lightly sweet and a bit sour; finishes dry and a bit hoppy bitter. Mouthfeel is creamy, body medium. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden orange with white head. Nose/taste of malt, grain, straw, honey, florals and spice. Medium body. Finishes with some honey malt. If all lagers tasted like this, I’d drink more of them.

04 falls short of some of the other Limited Edition lagers. Gold color. Lots of malt and virtually no hop presence at all. Medium sweet, but also a chemical quality I don’t care for. Alcohol is prominent in the flavor as well.

Bottle in NYC. Pours yellow-gold, effervescent with a foamy, white head. Mellow nose, some light hay and rich cereal malts. Pretty nicely rounded flavor. Light to medium sweet, good light toast malts, hay, light grass, hints of citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Light warming finish, nice bread notes, faint spices and alcohol, lemony citrus and straw. Very nice beer.
