On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a minimal white head. Aromas are of wheat, grainy, clove (4VG), orange peel and light vanilla. Flavors are of cardboard, clove phenol, orange and grainy wheat. Dry and thin with no carbonation. Not particularly great.

Tap at the DIA venue. Server called it both wheat and wit. Pours hazy gold. Coriander aroma? Medium body with a touch of citrus. Nice flavor, though could be more Belgian.

Shaker pint draft at the ChopHouse location at DIA. Listed as Witbier on tap handle, menu, etc. Served with an unsolicited orange slice. Pour is lightly hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. Aroma is soft wheat grain, some light yeasty citrus and soft esters. Nice gentle nose. Taste is the wheat up front, nice bright citrus in the middle, and a calm smooth yeast finish. Decently put together. Palate is medium bodied, low carbonation and a very easy drinking dry finish. I agree with the alias, this is really more of a Wheat Ale, though it had nice Hefe notes.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, sweet spice and banana. Medium, clean body with flavors of wheat, malt and coriander. More banana in the flavor too. The finish is wheaty with a short fruity aftertaste. Average overall.

tap at Denver ChopHouse - Pours cloudy straw colored with a lingering head that laces some. It has a wheaty, yeasty, banana aroma. The flavor is sweet malt and wheat with banana and a hint of spice. It’s light bodied and fairly good overall.

A hazed blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, a light banana and cloves aroma, with white pepper notes. In mouth, a nice light wit with bananas, cloves and cardamom. Light bodied. On tap at Denver Airport, August 28 2009

Sampler @ Denver Airport location. Has a lightly hazy, dark straw color with a sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet off the bat with lots of thick spices in there as well. This combines to make a very thick spicy cereal mash. Flavor is similar with an addition of a metallic characteristic. Comes out too sweet with an overpowering spiciness that is out of place and it is nowhere quaffable enough for the style (or as far as I like it I guess).
