330 Mml bottle tasted on the 26/04/2016. Black opaque color with a dense and big beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is dry, alcoholic and espresso. Aftertaste is strong with a lot of coffee. Next one please!

Bottle. Dark brown/black body with a thick tan head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of Twiglets, dark chocolate, smoke and Marmite. Flavour of rich coffee, plum, soy sauce and blueberries. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Very intense and full flavoured.

Bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen - black pour with nice brown head. Roasted malty with big hits of chocolate, caramel, some nice burnt nuances, solid hoppy backing, goes down a treat.

Appearance- very dark, opaque, a big frothy light brown head which leaves some lacing. Aroma- milk chocolate, coffee beans, dark toasted malt, coffee milkshake, tobacco smoke, treacle toffee, toasted teacake. Taste- yum. Bitter chocolate and loads of dark coffee to begin with. Burnt caramel, roast malts, honey-coated burnt toast, liqueur chocolates. Clinging bitter finish, with more burnt malts and espresso coffee. Mouthfeel is thick, smooth and velvety, seems bigger than 8%. Delicious.

(330ml bottle shared @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Nov 27 2015) Pours black with a pale brown head lingering with lace. Aroma has smoky, roasty dark malts and piney hops. Palate is very smoky, dry and ashy dark malt and a lot of leafy, piney hops with a bit of resin. Finish is super smoky and medium bitter with dry roast and a supply of pine forward hops. Medium body with above average carb. Basically all about and hops, I admit I was expecting a fuller, richer body from the grain bill. Felt a little lacking in punch.

F: thin brown diminishing to thin film. C: dark non-transparent as a night. A: roasted malt, wet wood, coffee, sweet dark fruit. T: 0,33l bottle from De Hopduvel in Gent, dark malt, nice bitterness with some grassy/earthy tones decent dry on the palate, coffee, hint of dark chocolate, some dark fruity, smoked meat, full body, average carbo, very good beer for this style.

Bottle from Metro Wines. Almost black colour with a tan head. Roasted and slightly smoke and spice aroma. Tasted smoky fruity and a touch of roasted bitterness.
