From a bottle at the Bevog 2nd anniversary. Pours a dark brown, almost black color, topped with a fairly big tan colored head, very creamy. Quite roasty aroma with some mild chocolate notes. Creamy body with a quite grainy feel and moderate bitterness. Mild coffee that get’s a bit more noticeable with time. Not the best one, really.

(bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a big and brown foamy head. Roasty and leafy malty aroma with notes of liquorice, wet wood, caramel, coffee and a whiff of smoke. Moderately roasty bitter and subtle sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Roasty but also soft malty mouthfeel with flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee and subtle notes of dried fruits; quite bitter and lasting finish with a cornucopia of flavours and a mild but balancing malty sweetness, accompanied by a moderate alcoholic bite. Very good. 04.IX.15
