Bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with big brown head. Aroma of, coffee, smoke, liquorice, tobacco, roasted malt. Taste sweet with roasted bitterness and some bitterhops. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, slightly silky mouth feel.

330 ml bottle from Ammersin 5, Vienna.
Pitch black body, with a big, dense, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of smoke, nuts, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, some liquorice, some dark fruits.
Tastes of dark chocolate, coffee, smoke, ash, cocoa, liquorice, subtle citric hops.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, smokey, quite dry, with coffee, liquorice, bitter chocolate, cocoa.
Tasty. Great balance between smoke, chocolate, strong roasty notes and even some hops. Alcohol is completely hidden, drinks very smooth. Overall not the best Imperial Porter I’ve had, but a very pleasant one I would gladly drink again.

Bottle. Nose is very nice, dark chocolate, wood smoke, vanilla, hint of coffee. Looks beautiful with a rich thick head. Taste smoke, licorice, dark chocolate, nut, a gentle hop bitterness and pleasing sour tone lifting it nicely, cherry, a little vanilla cream, slight coffee ice-cream, a stewed dark fruit flavour. Mouhtfeel is surprisingly light. A very, very good beer.

Pitch black, medium dark tan head, nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and roasted coffee. Taste bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee. Dry, bitter coffee finish. Alcohol heat in the finish. Weaker side of full bodied and somewhat creamy.

Bottled 330ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized creamy brown head, roasty and really hoppy nose. Roasted malt, coffee, slight ashy, touch of fruits and strong bitter hops presence. Rather dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Aroma actually hoppy, earthy, grassy, but also fruity hops, then lots of roasted malt, burnt. Almost black colour. Taste is heavily malty, dark roasted, coffee, smoked, at the same time lots of grassy hops. Very balanced, very nice.
