Bottle shared with John. 5K backlog. Pours semi-cloudy gold. No head. Nose and taste of cheap apple cider, McIntosh, light cream, apple sauce and ripe banana peel. Not very good. Lighter than medium body.

Slight hazy copper. Sweet, caramel, apple in the aroma. Watery body. Flavor is light beer, heavier cider. Sweet, apple, light caramel in the flavor with a bit of malt. I’ve homebrewed a cider/beer hybrid before and was excited for this. Did not meet my expectations.

Pours a lovely clear, orange-copper. Aroma is of apples. Tastes like a light pilsener into which some apple juice has been mixed. Not altogether unpleasant, but really not all that memorable, either.

Found this cider beer comba at the Ba Runi. Smells a little like apple. Taste is of course apple cider with more apple than I expected. Lager beer fer sure in the background. Looks like pale lager. Borders on sweet, a little more sweetness than I expected for a cider like beer. I’m used to the dry ciders, now. Decent co2. Not bitter to say the least. Yes, just simply an apple falvored beer, not many of those out there. Finish is just plain apple lager even tho it says cream ale on the label.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers 6 Pack this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small white head that produces some lacing. The aroma was tart, fruity, citric and a bit yeasty. The flavor was tart, tangy and bitter with notes of lemon, perfume and bread. The finish was long, bitter, tart and citric. Medium body. Uninspired.

12 oz bottle purchased at Blue Max in Burnsville, Minnesota. Pour is clear golden orange with a few visible carbonation bubbles and a frothy one inch white head that falls fast. Aroma of grainy malt, corn and brightly sweet apple juice. Taste is exactly the nose; grainy malt, corn huskiness and sweet apple juice. Palate ios thin to medium, coats the mouth a bit, lingering corny apple taste. This tastes exactly like a cream ale with apple juice - just as the label says so extra point for that. However, I don’t think I am wild about this marriage.

12oz bottle split with Ann. Filtered orange tan color. Pleasant apple juice aroma. Sweet cidery taste, sour. Some sweet maltiness in there but still dominated by apple tartness. Well balanced and non-artificial, quite refreshing. Excellent palate cleanser. The creamy tastes start to shine through as the beer warms.

Or a fruit beer. They missed the mark on this one. It smells like a hair salon. It is a nice looking beer, resembling brandy in my snifter. Little carbonation. Flavor is light apple, hint of spice, and grain. These guys are usually solid but this beer needs some work.
