Nice amber pour, light fluffy head. Decent citrus nose, some light paper otes, but the citrus hops die out fast and turn to light veggies. The body is a touch watery. The finish is papery, with a light bitterness. Light grassy hop notes, but it dies out so quickly. There is a good beer in there.......

An orange amber ipa with a thick collapsing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, reminiscent of the west coast, OK. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light cloying sweetness, but I was expecting worse. Can from LCBO.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear amber with airy off-white head. Mild but clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of hops and yeast and touches of needles. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malt and notes of needles. Rough aftertaste with estery and mildly bitter notes. The best beer of the brewery’s hop series but still far from the ideal.

Can 473ml @ Hotel room, Weber’s, Ann Arbor, MI
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma is weak, quite malty, with bread and some caramel notes. Fruit caramel orange style too. There should be more bitterness I think, as it’s too bready on the palate, medium to full-bodied and semi-sweet. Some orange zest and a fruit caramel hint as well. Medium length orange and bread finish. A decent beer, but it’s too focused on the malts and not enough on the hops in my opinion. 150615

473 ml can from Duty Free, Fort Erie, ONT. A golden amber pour with a billowing, but fast fading, cream head; malty aroma; carmale malt taste with just the faintest trace of Cascade. Disappointing in comparison with the Hallertauer version.

Can - Mild citrus hops, a little orange and some sweet malt. Fizzy gold with a thin head that dissipates immediately. Sweet malt dominates with some orange hoppy notes but no bitterness. An odd finish with a touch of sourness. Much better than I expected, but still nothing I would volunteer to drink.
