We have sourced rare oloroso sherry casks to mature this limited brew. The casks started their life in Spain but were also used to mature some pretty tasty scotch whisky before they came to us. The beer is rich and spicy with lots of nutty caramel sweetness drawn from the wood.

Bottle: Poured a light bright amber color ale with a small white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sweet malt notes with light sweet sherry notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet cherry notes with some sweet malt notes. Body is light with an oily texture with medium carbonation. Interesting used of barrel-aging treatment but a touch too sweet for my taste.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Clear, pale amber with dissipating off white head. Toffee and wood aroma with mild dark fruit. Taste some caramel, sherry, and little bit of scotch at the end. Quite light body. If the flavours were a little stronger it would be a more memorable beer.
