Bottle from De Bierverteller, Utrecht. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, ash, tobacco, touch of dried dark fruits, berries, caramel, burnt wood, some dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a medium roasty bitterness. Body is above medium. Rum? Fuller body would have been nice, aroma is very fine though. Good.

Mild smell of roasted malt. Black colour, beige head. aroma of ash, peat, roasted malt. Bitter, dry palate. No clear caribbean rum. Good, though.

Sort med brun topp som daler sakte, blir liggende rundt kanten. Aroma; Sjokolade, eik, kaffe, eik, hasselnøtt, vanilje, whisky, eik, brøddeig, hint av bjørnebær, rum, soyasaus. Smak; Eik, malt, sjokolade, vanilje, rum, vanilje, rum, soyasaus, uspesifierte nøttemix. Fyldig! balansert, smaksfull, fruktig. Varig dyp ettersmak. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Delt med Rune og finn som smaker for andre gang, og Leif. Takk til Rune!

Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wine of dreams). Taste and drink on special occasion with tomek at my home. Old bottle, I thinh 5 or 6 years in my cellar or more. 500ml bottle. Piwo ma fantastyczna brazowawo-bezowa spora piane, oblepiajaca szklo, Ciemne o oleistej lepkiej konsystencji. Trufle, czekolada gorzka, kawa, spora palonosc, lekkie musniecie slodkiego rumu, nie przepadam za takim typem alkoholu ale tu bylo fantastyczne, Mocna goryczka, uwalniajaca sie po czasie, ciagnaca sie niczym najlepsze krowki z Sandomierza czy Zamoscia. Palonosc dominuje, bardzo dobry i rasowy rIS, chyba tez czas lezakowania na te doznania wplynal pozytywniem choc nie mam odniesienia do wersji mlodej i swiezej.

A black beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma has roastiness and coffee, also sweetness. Taste has roastiness, coffee, sweetness of maltyness. Medium+ bodied. Overally, surprisingly simple, maybe it's not a bad thing. Roasted and coffee.

Bottle 0.5l, trade with Camons, many thanks! Well, few years aged. Black, opaque. AROMA- roasted malts, a bit burnt, wood, nuts, touch of smoke, touch of tobacco leaves. FLAVOR- very smooth, slightly sweet, bitter, roasted, tobacco, wood, charcoal, caramel, touch of alcohol. Fuller bodied. Very tasty.

Bottle bought in Copenhagen 2009 or 2010. Black with a small tan head. Smooth with chocolate, some dark malt, dark fruit and notes of oak. Very well hidden alcohol. Still a pleasant one although 10 years old.
