We refermented fresh raspberries from Bleuetière et Érablière Giard in Roxton Pond to produce this red-tinted saison beer with exuberant raspberry perfumes and a subtle acidity.

dark red pour, fluffy pink head with alot of floaters, even some distinct raspberry seed remnants in the head. Tart raspberry aroma, subtle sweetness, and a bit of spice, great mouth feel, its clean and crisp. The finish is lightly tart with a great berry sweetness that lingers, and imparts a light bitterness. super refreshing a great summer patio beer.

Sample bouteille 75cl @ Dunham total take-over @ La Fruitière. Bottled 2023.07.12, lot# 23O55.

Bottle at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Rose-wine clear pour, medium-low off-white foam. Nose: raspberry candy, lactose, rose petals. Mouth: super extra high carbonation, fresh (a bit artificial) raspberry note, muffle tart.

Bottle, Legacy. Red-pink colour, and a pinkish head. Cloudy. Has a strong raspberry nose, touch of lactic, no particular saison character. Tart on the palate with mellow raspberries and a bit of yeastiness. Again, lacks both saison character and complexity. Jammy finish. Not saying it’s bad, but it’s not an upper echelon fruit beer.

On tap at Darby’s Gastown. Pours a clody rose color with a white head. Aroma is raspberry and sugary notes. Taste is not so sweet as aroma, but with good noticeable hoppy bitterness. Fruity, hoppy bitterness aftertaste. Refreshing and delicious.

2016-08-27, draught at Darby’s Gastown, Vancouver, as Dunham Raspberry Saison, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Opaque pink-red color, compact head. Mild aroma of raspberry yogurt. Dry and smooth mouthfeel, moderately sour, mild raspberry flavor, some yeast, some woody bitterness in the final (typical of raspberries), and light astringency.
Ok beer.

Murky light red color. It has a strong fruity character from the raspberry, and therefore some acidity; the spicy yeast is not too strong, it’s a disturbing element anyway, doesn’t fit in the picture. It seems to be highly carbonated.
Overall, a nice fruity sour. And well made, bold.

Bottle thanks to Pierre. Pours reddish orange white head. Nose/taste of raspberry, lemongrass, cut grass, light citrus. Berry forward. Lighter medium body.

Medium reddish orange with a large pinkish white head that lingers and leaves good lace. Nose is dominated by raspberry but not overpowering with a light yeast background with floral notes and some caramel. Lightly sweet with a restrained level of tartness and a crisp finish. Medium light mouth with active carbonation. Nice restrained fruit beer.
