Brewed in the style of a Belgian Wit. A special blend of coriander, orange zest and unmalted wheat help to make this a remarkably refreshing summer beer.

12 ounce bottle from State lLine. Pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow with a weak attempt at a head. Decent lacing, however. Aroma is bread, citrus, pineapple and cat food. Taste is pineapple, bread, light spice and caramel. Medium bodied.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some corriander with a touch of yeast. Flavor is a nice spice up front then comes more of a citrus followed by bready malts. Better than expected.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was dry, musty, slightly spicy and had a light citrus element. The flavor was dry, bitter and a little tart with a musty and peppery undertone and a hint of citrus and cardboard. The finish was short. Decent.

Pours hazy straw color with white head. Smells like a typical Belgian wit; wheat, citrus and corriander. Flavor is similar to aromas. Light body with a thin, watery mouthfeel. An OK wit.

12 oz bottle courtesy of eaglefan538. Apr WK 1 notched on the bottle. Pour is hazed yellow white with a nice one inch pure white head. Aroma of soft sweet floral wheat, some lemon citrus. Soft and inviting. Taste is the wheat and sweet lemon, clean and straightforward. Coriander spice faintly present in the aftertaste. Palate is a bit grainy, nicely drinkable with active carbonation. Nice wit.

12oz bottle. Light cloudy orange color. Mellow orange and wheat aroma. Very crisp and drinkable, with a little bit of a citrus zest. The coriander also comes through in the initial mouthfeel, until it fades into a creamy finish. Pretty good stuff, nothing exceptional. I’m sure it makes a hell of a session beer around Lakefront.

Whitish-yellow colour. Rich lemony, coriandery aroma. Moderate body, with just a hint of sweetness, some lemon and light spice. Decent, fairly refreshing example.

Bottle. LIghtly citric aroma. Amber tinged gold color with a white head that never really arrived. Starts with a bit of orange peel, and some Belgian type spice. Maybe a touch of clove. Arguably coriander. Wheat malt goes with that. It’s rather thin in body, and the carbonation is a bit sharpish. The finish is pretty dry, and the spice sticks around, along with some lemony citrus. Worth the price, but not as tasty as the usual wit.
