Bottle thanks to homer! Not sure what this beer did to deserve wax, btw. Pours clear black, small beighe head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, earthy. Flavor is light plus sweet and light bitter, pumpkin spices and chocolate. Light acidity. Medium body, a bit watery.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma holds autumnal spices, light roast, cocoa. Medium to big sweet flavor with rich pumpkin puree, chocolate, spices, nutmeg. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with more spices, fleshy pumpkin, bittersweet cocoa, light bitterness. I liked this in a big way. Wonderful take on the style.

Cinnamon and clove nose. Mahogany, firm coating medium tan head. Clove-heavy cinnamon flavor. Burned cookies, raisins. Full body, creamy. Very nicely spiced, no pumpkin, but a good use of complimentary toasted malts. Seems like more of a winter spice ale than fall pumpkin beer. Tastes like Christmas to me.

22 oz bottle poured into a snifter after working off the wax for a few minutes. Black with just under a finger of light tan head. Aromas of pumpkins, cinnamon, a bit of vanilla, a little nutmeg and other spices found in pumpkin desserts. Tastes of roast, dark chocolate, spices, some pumpkin. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium-low carbonation, semi-creamy mouthfeel. Better as it warms.
