Tørst draught 4/28/23. Clear strawberry-blonde. Off-white head to ring. Funky, rich mineral including plentiful sulfur. Love that it's yeast/bacteria first followed by cherry in the background. Pepper and chalk from Sacch, with excellent, clean, unaggressive acidity. Oh baby, that sulfur! The cherry is nice too. Very tart, surprisingly so. Tannic, bright with moderate mineral and good cherry pie and medicinal Brett in the finish. Maybe not quite as exciting as the nose but there's good oak and funk lingering. Fruit is well macerated and expressed.

The beer is reddish orange. Small amount of white foam on top. Quite cloudy. Fairly light cherries and tart saison flavor in the aroma. Medium to medium light tart taste. Lactic sourness. Cherries are pretty mild. It’s mostly in line with other barrel aged saisons from Sante. Dry. Light on the palate. Normal carbonation. Tasty just not as exciting as expected.

Aroma has a nice fruity character with some nice stone fruit notes and overripe pear. A good, light, cherry note with light acidity and citrus. Light oak notes and tannins add complexity. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange with a faint pinkish tint and a small, white head that disappears to the edges where it lingers slightly. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light acidity with some light citrus character. Low grain notes with some light oak and oak tannins. Medium light cherry character with medium light bitterness. Slightly mineral water quality. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another very nice fruited saison from SARA. One thing I really like is that the fruit is not overwhelming, but instead adds a complimentary background note.

Bottle, shared by Matt - thanks! Bottle #8 at the tasting. Pours hazy golden pink, quite beautiful actually. Small off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving wispy residual and some lacing. Aroma is light tart lemons, cherries, oak tannins. Flavor is light tart with a bit of SARA funk, cherries, lemons and oak all present and balanced. Light plus body. Really an easy drinker and a wonderful beer (4.3/5.0).

Rerate in draft, second batch. Hazier than before, more fruit, loads of really nice basement funk, kind of a lou pepe vibe from this one. Hella good. Wow.
