Old rating rerated 23.05.2014, 0,35l bottle @ Food Factory, Flesland airport :
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, malt candy, caramel malts, grass, hay, alcohol, sour coffee, chocolate. Taste is slightly harsh, malt candy, grass, alcohol, burnt caramel, caramel malts, hay, cardboard, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly dry harsh and watery mouthfeel. Meh! Feels so unbalanced...

Caramel, cocoa and raisins in the aroma. Flavour is rich and malty, with some fruit and chocolate and toffee. A touch of bitter, maybe citric, hop in there as well and that aspect of it lingers too. Quite an interesting mix of things going on here.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep reddish brown color. Medium-sized rocky beige head with nice lacing. Earthy toasted malt nose hints at chocolate and herbal hops. Some dark caramel notes, nuts and brown bread. Slightly spicy citrus hops in finish. Cramy mouthfeel and easy to quaff. Very good.
