355ml bottle into shaker. Pours a deep copper with a solid cream-coloured head. Laces well. Malty nose, touches of toffee and fruit. A bit of a sour zing, a little hop bitterness, a hint of smoky malt. A bit ephemeral but certainly easy drinking.

Aroma is fairly mild and just barely meets the test for a Brown ale. In the flavor department it’s much better, still could be fuller, rounder, and richer. Tad over carbonated too.

Lukt syrlig frukt malt. Smak syrlige plommer, røstet malt, karamell. Mye syrlighet i starten, det ble bedre underveis. 2016

Clear deep dark brown colour, small foamy off-white head, dissipates quickly, almost no lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, brown sugar, dried dark fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter, followed by a light acidity, chocolate, dark bread, average duration. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is mild sweetbitter, fruity bits, spicy notes, light acidity in the finish. Not as hoppy as I expected, nice Brown Ale though.

Pours a brown from a bottle, Sort of a bittersweet chocolate soda. Vegetal flavor that appears to be a Brooklyn specialty. Okay beer.
