On tap at NHBF’14. Mini-cask. Black colour, beige head with a tiny red hue. Aroma of earthy beetroot, ash, hard-roasted malts, liquorice. Flavour is dry, earthy, ash, hard-roasted malts, tiny hint of bitter chocolate, firm bitter finish with some coffee. Dry and not much sweetness left here. Nice experiment.

Sampled at the Noord-Hollands Bierfestival. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of vegetables and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap @ alkmaar festival. Thick creamy tan head. Clear black pour. A nice stout.
