In 1998, Hugues Dubuisson introduced a new Bush aimed at lovers of blonde beer. The launch commemorated the 65th anniversary of the Bush Caractère, introduced to the market all those years ago by his grandfather, Alfred.
And thus the Bush Triple was born. This filtered, top-fermented beer fits into the ranks alongside the Bush Caractère and the Bush de Noël. The Bush Triple is the fruit of the same expertise and the same house yeast. However, this blonde has her own unique personality.
The use of traditional malt varieties and the well-known Saaz hops gives the beer its clear blonde colour. We see the development of a subtle, but at the same time very well- balanced, palette of aromas and tastes. The lengthy fermentation process increases the alcohol volume to 10.5%, but at the same time produces a beer that is very easy to digest.

The younger, blonde sister of the famous Bush Ambrée, with cream white, irregular, thin head and deep golden blonde colour with warm orange shade. Somewhat bizarre, bit smoky aroma, caramel, mango, cork, whisky, cookie dough, vanilla, orange peel, cloves, gin. Sweetish onset, honeyish, then evolving into a light smokiness, bit woody, creamy and slick mouthfeel, quickly dominated by a warming, brandy-like alcohol that basically rules the rest of the palate, though a mild touch of hop bitterness also appears in the end. Bit weird the first time I encountered it, was not sure what to think of it, but I learned to appreciate it afterwards and will surely revisit this one day.

Helder levendig geel bier met schuim. Smaak is zoet, licht zuur en licht bitter met spoeren van citrus en rozijnen. Blijft lang hangen.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours slightly hazy golden with barely any head. Aroma is fruity, some yeast and caramel. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

330ml bottle from beergusto. Pale golden pour, big white head. Belgian yeasty aromas, bread, grass. Warming alcohol taste, but slips down very easily. Nice.

slightly cloudy yellow colour, huge white head; aroma of yeast, earthy notes, grassy hops, figs and some floral notes; taste is too alcoholic...I’m a bit confused with Dubuisson’s Bush beers - some of them are excellent, some of them (like this one) are far below the average belgian beers

Very hazy burnt orange. Nose is quite boozy and sweet with cloves and toffee. Wheat heavy, lots of sweet sugar and candy corns, caramel, candy corn and a burnt boozy / bitter finish. Interesting but a lot of ABV.

Flaske på rommet i Brussel, etter en fin kveld med god vietnamesisk mat og et par røv til bænk og flaske til mund på Grand Place: lett krydret med stor voltstyrke som reduserte vurderingsevnen ytterligere. Mer røff en elegant i smaken, og det ble en god nattesøvn etter denne.
