Tap the Griffon, Charleston. It pours clear mahoganny with a small white head. The nose is smoke, oily, ham, malty backbone and wood. The taste is smoke, earthy, caramel, carrot cake, decent bitterness, light toast, dried fruit and brown sugar. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting flavour profile indeed. Tastes a whole lot like smokey carrot cake!

On tap at GABF 2012. What an interesting idea. Pours a cloudy light brown/amber color with a medium white head. A sweet nose with light smoke. Pretty clean with light sweet malts and very light smoke. Nice and enjoyable.
