Bottle shared in NYC - many thanks to Bruce. Pours reddish brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has lots of tart berries, a bit of funk, leather. Light to medium sweet flavor with strong acetic bite, faint vinegar, tart berries. Medium bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sharp acetic finish, more zippy berries, light vinegar, faint brown sugar, lemon juice. Good stuff.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark color, mahogany and brown, large beige frothy head. Very nice aroma, cherry pits, funky, fruit pie. The mouthfeel is too much acidic, and there is too much acetone; but the fruity cherry and cherry pit tannins are good.
Excessive, but interesting.

Bottle, shared by Matt - thanks! This little guy pretty much divided the tasting, with 2/3 of the people loving it and the rest, well, not so much. Put me in the latter camp. Pours cloudy hazel, large tan head, fizzy with some lacing. Aroma has hints of nail polish and fruit, oak, cherry. Flavor is light sweet, quite sour, acetic with some fruitiness and oaky tannic bite. Medium body. Certainly improves with breathing and looses some of the acetic quality.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out cherries, yogurt, light rum and tart dark fruits. Flavour is very milky, with yogurt, cherries, light acetic quality, and rum. Amazingly well-rounded. The yogurty quality works so well. Not overly complex but amazingly cohesive and drinkable. Excellent.
