Bottle sampled at Flink Gegist festival. Black with small dark beige head. Roast, licorice, rotten blackberries, ash, very earthy, soft smoke. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Over medium bodied with watery feel. Meh.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Black, mocha head. Nose is thick black liquorice, varnish, caramel, soap,… thick black liquorice taste, spice, syrup, caramel, liquorice is heavy bit much for me,… Liquorice & soap body. Fair beer, enjoyable for me even if rather liquorice heavy.

Pours unclear, very dark brown to black. Small white head. Smell is gingerbread, thick, bit sweet, earthy. Taste is sharp, roasty malts. Tad sweet, mild pure chocolate. Ok.

Very dark pour with a tall tan head that is slow to rise to the surface. Notes of roasted malts, licorice, dark chocolate, cherry bitterness,light ash. Full body, low carbonation, smooth-ish texture. The alcohol is present a bit too much, though. The label says 9.5%.

schenkt zwart met volle schuimige licht bruine kraag, aroma van chocolade, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, laurier, cacao,. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, veel chocolade, melkchocolade, lactose, cacao, plakkerig, redelijk dik, iets laurier, redelijke moutige basis, iets van spekjes zoetigheid, redelijke body, lage co2, lange chocolade afdronk.

Bottle. Pitch black pour. Aroma of creamy roasted malt, licorice and coffee. Taste has licorice, bitter cacao, roasted malt, creamy coffee and a bitter dry finish. I like it.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Dark malty. Roasted and liqourice. Lingering dark malty. Lasting smooth liqourice. Smooth finish.
