Vivid hop aromas, citrus, and tropical fruits meld with pine and spice. A touch of malt sweetness finishes smooth yet crisp. This is what happens when American hop flavors meld with the fruity, spicy nature of our yeast. This farmhouse IPA blazes its own path.

Draught at the brewery, 4/2/16.
Huge white head with strong retention tops a glowing, bright-golden to burnished copper body with a light haziness.
Fruity Belgian esters in the nose are joined by pineapple, mango and tons of citrus. Light pine lingering in the background and moderate toasted malt character backing it all. Definitely gives a light "sour" character from all of these hops and sourdough-like flavors. But the fruitiness keeps it fairly lively/lighthearted and the yeast adds a lovely layer of plaster and minerality.
Definitely given over a bit too much to the specialty malt, as it definitely has a sweet-and-sour-like breadiness. The Belgian characteristics are definitely the highlight here, while pineapple and mango hops add levity and juiciness before being challenged by the heavy citrus and pine on the end. Ample, engaging carbonation is a plus with no alcohol or flaw. Definitely agree with others that the beer is being pulled in too many directions. There’s a lot of maltiness, lots of juicy hops, bitter hops, and lighter Belgian yeast notes that don’t all work together.

Draft at GLB, cloudy gold with decent head retention. Nose is fruity Belgain yeast with a light spice in there as well. Pale malts. Body is yeasty with a chewy body. The flavor is a good amount of citrus and dried fruits upfront. The bitterness is light and herbal with some lingering affect.
The Bear lists this this as a farmhouse IPA, I agree. The balance of yeast and hop bitterness is married well in this brew. I find this interesting and rather tasty. Nice flagship brew.
