Bottle - Vintage 2011 - Bourbon, maple, vinous, oak and so much more. Murky amber with almost no head. Oak and barrel notes, maple, vanilla and a slight vinous sourness in the finish. This is not a beer I could drink more than a glass of, but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the glass. Complex and fun to drink.

A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, strange meaty malt with caramel notes, light British hops, strange. In mouth, a rather strange sweet malt with treacle, herbal notes, orange pulp, a bit off. Tasted March 12 2011 with Montreal crew.

650mL bottle, pours dark amber with barely any head. Aroma and flavour of caramel malts, vanilla and bourbon. Very nice.

Hazy amber. Lots of bourbon on the nose with light malts - caramel. Sweet, nice sugary malts - hints of vanilla, bourbon show through. Alcohol emerges a little bit late. Not bad - ok flavour and maybe the body is a bit thin.
