Not too bad at all. Yellow lager. No offensive aroma or flavors. Drinkable enough. It does its job of being a tropical lager.

Really pale yellow, but there is a picture so who cares about the description. Grassy hops smell. Grainy taste. It has existing hops. That’s cool I guess. Another merely ok Indian beer that is cool to get at an Indian restaurant because it fits with all the food you got (sort of).

Bottle. Served at a local Indian restaurant. Light, sweet, kind of sweet and corny. Sour-applish taste at the end. Pretty crappy beer list at this place overall, so this wasn’t all that horrible for what was available. Good thing the food rocks.

Update... if anyone sees this rating so much later. The restaurant in question, Milan on Route 29, was busted stealing their employees’ tips, forcing them to work overtime without compensation, etc. The beer list isn’t the only thing about that place that stinks.

bottle - Pours clear yellow with a medium sized head and a light cereal malt aroma. The flavor is mostly grainy malt with a little hops. It’s watery and weak. The glowing commercial description calls it "the only truly royal beer". They’ve got to be kidding. If I were the king and this beer is what the royal brewmaster brought me, heads would roll!

Aroma of light crystal malt, no detectable hop, maybe some adjunct. Light gold color with a so-so white head. Rather thin bodied. A touch over carbonated. The flavor is something citrus and malt. The finish is fairly dry, but there is more of a citrus sour than a bitter. Probably good for washing down food.

570ml bottle. Very pale body, close to water. Tick, small bubbled white head. Aroma is a bit perfumed and very weak. Flavor is rather sweet with a trace of hop (perfume). Almost no aftertaste at all. Great in accompaniment with a really hot curry dish, but nothing more.

Bottled. Pale golden, creamy head. Sweet, ricey, clean and light bodied. Sickening sugary finish with crystal malt and rice.

Not too impressed here. Thin and fizzy. Grass like flavors too. Follow tradition - when in India do as the Brit's did long ago - Order the India Pale Ale.
