750 ml bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, much thanks. Hazy gold with plenty of carbonation. Aroma is mostly straw with yeast and very subtle peppercorns.

Mild floralness upfront with a lighter grain base and mild yeast character. I love the mouthfeel on this; lighter, crisp and effervescent and dry. The peppercorns are subtle in the finish and not overdone. Good balance. Very nice.

This beer is a hazy pale yellow-gold color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of floral yeast, mildly spicy hops, malt and semisweet fruit. The finish is fruity up front with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

Capped 750 from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aromas of herb and mild spice. Med + body. Flavor is spicy, fruity, a tad earthy, and rather noble hoppy. Hint of banana? With time there might be a hint of phenol coming through. Mostly it’s not really trying to be dead dry, has some stone fruit popping in, and is really quite tasty. Finishes towards fruity bitter - and even a bit astringent. Heck, even trying for dry. I really like this.

GABF 2014. I liked this beer. Dry yeast and spices in the aroma. dry grass and fresh garden scents. Enough hops that you know they are there.
