Perfectly clear golden and light copper coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall tan head that fades quickly. Aroma of grapefruit (of course), grass, hay, light flowers and a dash of both yeast and alcohol. Medium-bodied; Very bitter and pungent grapefruity and citrusey characteristics show with some alcohol and even cleanser-like notes with a tiny dose of malt, not really balancing out the strong bitterness, but it's nice, especially for the style. Aftertaste is very crisp and dry with the large hit of grapefruit and citrusey characteristics, but also some dry grassiness and hay flavours, without much malt, alcohol or complexity. Overall, a nice, relatively easy-drinking, but very enjoyable grapefruity and citrusey IPA, just like the better East Coast IPAs of old days! Great to sample, especially fresh! I sampled this pint-sized, sixteen ounce can, purchased from K-1 Beer and Wine in Arlington, Virginia on 07-June-2020 for US$2,99 sampled at my house here in Washington, just four days later, on 11-June-2020.

32oz growler from the brewery pours a clear orange with some sticky, white head. Nose has fresh grapefruit, pulp and peel, some soap, a little orange soda. Flavor is a little more authentic than the orange version, fresh grapefruit without a ton of bitterness, some lemon candies, soap. Finishes dry, lightly bitter.
