33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. Bottled on 08/2013. Small gusher. Pours a hazy orange (gains a touch brown and turns almost murky towards the bottom of the bottle) & huge sinking white head. Nose is huge thick yoghurt yeast, bread from the yeast, sweet white sugar, very faint floral / grass note. Taste is thick yeast, faint yoghurt impression (just the yeast, nothing off), sweet white sugar and big chuck of sweet young banana, chunk of banana bread, very minor salty / floral in the back (only very lightly so). Carb. is huge, body is pretty nice for the unusually low ABV in Belgium of 4 %. I must say that if you put a flaming chilli on your label and a crocodile crawling out of it with the words Cajun written under it, you should get something at least slightly spicy and not a sweet and yeast bread with 0.00 % chilli. Granted I find Cayenne very mild generally but I couldn’t detect any chilli here whatsoever, maybe it went away with age but than there is a distribution issue here because it only recently wind up in the shops. Anyway I am not deducting any point for it but I was kind of disappointed with the lack of any chilli of any kind.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Cloudy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, some bitter, maybe just slightly peppers, but not nearly as prominent as I had expected. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle Pours unclear light blonde Big but fast fading white head Smell is spiced malts , but not straight pepper . If i wouldnt know it , i wouldnt think of it .. Very high carbo No pepper at all in the taste . Grains , bit bitter , malts . Way to much carbo If you swirl out some carbo , you can get a small hint of pepper in the aftertaste , withoud being hot or something .,

Draught Very good snowwhite head with lacerings. Veiled, but bright-orange beer. Spicy, citrussy, very yeasty nose with "young" esters. Fresh bitter oranges. Spicy-bitterish, with again, a fruity orangey sweetness in the background. Finish is a bit empty, but the very cold serving temperature wasn’t helping here. Warming up, I get citrus, mainly oranges if a bit unripe ones. Medium bodied (4%!!), slick. Hint at alcohol, which surprises me no end. Not half bad! If it keeps in the bottle, it might develop even better, if the low ABV doesn’t prevent it. The peppers give spicy bitterness, but no real heat.

Clear orange beer, big fizzy foamy head, bit stable, little adhesive. Aroma: soapy, spices, hay, grains, wheat (?), bit sourish, weird in an interesting way. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, well, that came as no surprise of course, citrus, little bitter, grassy, sourish touch. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, citrus, little spicy, hay, weird touch, not bad!
