Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple, peach, sponge cake and grass. Flavour of underripe pear, orange and apricot. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Weak in flavour and body but it goes down easily. I’d be interested to try this on cask.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Hazy orange-amber coloured, with a small frothy head. Has a higher fruitiness character, with orange citrus dominant in this respect.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, light malt. Taste is more of the same. Very juicy and thirst-quenching. A proper good pint!

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly floral and citrusy hoppy aroma, a zesty touch. Taste is citrusy hoppy, zesty, hints of lemon, lemongrass, a touch of lime, a touch of hay in the background.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is citric pith, melon, lemon rind, straw, tangerine, mellow tropicana. Taste comprises light pine needle, mandarin, straw, satsuma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness evident. Decent hoppy cask juice from Brodies.

Cask at the Cross Keys, Covent Garden. Golden, clear with a bit of wispy head from the natural carbonation. Luscious scent if tropical fruit and lemongrass. Taste is bitter but not too much so. Slight notes of pear, woodsmoke and soap, but the latter clears in the clean dry finish. A fantastic cask beer.
