Bottle at the SHIG parachutes in with beavers to the Boise Crew tasting: Poured a brown with a khaki head. Aroma is berry, roasted malts. Taste is bitter, tart, fruity, berry, malty. This one has held up so well!

Refrigerated 11.2oz. brown bottle (did not know US breweries bottled this size) from BuckeyeBoy poured into a glass. Opaque reddish dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is light tart cherries, medium body, medium carbonation, and good lacing. Taste is complex tart cherries and oak. This is a great Flemish brown.

$4.99 a bottle, bought 3.

Cloudy brown and red, likeable head of foam and lacing.

Smells dark fruit tartness, some acetic acid, hints of Brett, and...that's all. ;)

Tasty son of a gun, no hidden unfavorable surprises. Sour fruit and acetic acid, more hints of Brett and some woody notes.

Lower side of medium bodied, perfect carbonation.

One heck of a Flanders Brown!

From a 33 cl bottle. Pours a cloudy dark brown with an ecru head. Aroma of sour cherry and dank bark. Flavors are moderate sour. Okay for the style.

Tasting at SF
Dirty brown color. Acid aroma, swamp, puke, light acetone. The light residual sweetness is pleasant, it has enough malt depth, balsamic.
Good.

12 oz. bottle, pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with balsamic vinegar, some vinous notes, Worcestershire sauce, and perfume. Flavour is along the same lines, with a nice blend of balsamic, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine. Nicely acetic, though it is quite jarring on the palate. Solid stuff.
