1 pint can. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid hoppy. Grapefruity and slight peachy hoppy. Bitter, fruity, crisp hoppy. Lingering citrusy and peachy hoppy finish.

Eventide, Portland: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is pine, resin, somewhat funky, musk; def an interesting aroma. Taste is fairly bitter. But in a sort of light and lingering way. Does not murder your palate. Malty but not heavy. Nice. I am not really getting any berries or citrus as per description.

Keg at Blackback - Waterbury. Pours unclear honey gold with a frothy, white head. Mellow spicy pine in the nose, pale bread, tangerine rind. Medium sweet flavour with further piney notes, peach, hay. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes a little dry, with some biscuity pale malts, rindy citrus, mild pine. Not bad.

Can shared by Lyn, thanks! Slightly hazy deep golden color with a decent bubbly white head. Big citrus earth and pine with hints of juicy fruit and a touch of bready malt to bring it all together. Tasty beer.

Yeah, I get it, the \"in\" thing these days is to pour an IPA into a tulip. Ugh, alright, well, here’s to another beer on tap by Blackback. Good job for not doing your research.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated pretty quickly. Light lacing strung out in a sporadic / semi-spider web look, somewhat and pretty light.
The smell started off with sweet and bitter orange rind and pulp with some sweet sticky onion underneath.
The taste was mostly the same with an indulgent sweetness over top of a penetrating bitterness wanting to show its strength but staying ever so slightly just a tad underneath for the most part.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable sort of feel about it. Carbonation felt good as an AIPA with a decent bitterness all around.
Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

Can at home, boy I’m terrible at keeping beer in fridge. Hazy burnt orange one fi her beige head. Nose is great pine and tropical fruits. Tastes of deep pine, caramel, some mango, resin, grapefruit, malty, and juicy candy notes. Lingering bitter amd sugary finish. Pretty good IPA.

Pours deep hazy gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Citrus and pine aromas. Medium bodied with dark caramel and grapefruit upfront turning to resin in the lasting finish.

Draft at Great Last Bear. Looks like cloudy grapefruit juice, thin head. Aroma is bold tropical fruit, light pine resin and peach. Really tempting for the nose. The hop profile does not hide the fact it is dominate in Pine. The West Coast lives in this IPA. In fact, so much so it over runs the tropical fruit and malt. Fruit trys to come out in the finish but fails. The bitterness is only high enough to remind you its an IPA. So it has some balance. Overall kind of middle of the road for me.

Poured from a can from toxiclogic. Aroma is balanced with a moderate hop and malt note. Malt is mostly cracker with some biscuit and light caramel. Moderate grapefruit and resin with some light tropical fruit and melon. Overripe fruit notes. Pours a hazy, copper orange with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that shows average retention. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate cracker and lighter biscuit and caramel malt notes. Medium high bitterness. Medium hop flavors of citrus, tropical fruit and melon. Hops also have some stone fruit notes. More fruit comes out as it warms a bit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but the hops are a bit faded and the malt presence a bit too strong. A good beer, but not a great beer. I wish the hop character came out more in the aroma and flavor.
