Bottle. Amber color. Apricot and citrus in the woody aroma. Woody, soft floral citric flavor with peach and a moderate sourness. Woody aftertaste wit anis notes. Nice!

Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in 2013. Hazy amber with a large head. Aroma and taste of light funk, wood, soap, light apples and some light smoke. Lively carbonation and with a fairly dry finish.

Leicht trübes orangebraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Citrus, Kraut, Gewürze, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle from Mikkeller Shop, Stefansgade, Copenhagen; bb Jan ’14
The carbonation is more controlled than in the Apple Wood version, the bottle is not gushing and the head is generous and firm; the color is amber, hazy. The aroma is not convincing at all, it’s mild, but there is puke and paint thinner. Vulgar flavor, with impression of vegetables; moderate saltiness; low bitterness.
Not very good, rather different (and worse) than the Apple Wood.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, cheers to Paulo, 09/12/13. Murked up ambres with a thin off white covering. Nose is apple skin, light acidic waft, bitter orange, straw, dank fruit. Taste comprises apple core, orange pith, straw, musty, light sugar, faint lactose. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Decent enough refreshing Gose.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul who also identified the Apple Tango nose on this hazy amber beer. Tidy cream coloured head. Palate is softish and light. Little malt with a touch of caramel and then very slightly sour apple. Semi dry finish. Interesting beer, had to double check it wasn’t the Apple wood version!

Bottle acquired via trade. It pours clear deep amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is apple tango, earth, wood, candy, salt, cheap white wine and apple Jolly Ranchers. The taste is crisp, salty, green apple skin, pear skin, Appletizer, nice tartness and sherbet with a dry finish. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Interesting, fun and tasty. Nice work.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks P-Dog. Pours clear, amber-gold with a frothy white head. Smells like ripe berries, fruit juice, ripe apples, gummy candies. Light sweet flavor with more gummy candies, berries, mellow tang. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with ripening fruits, more gummies, hints of woody dryness. Nice.
