12.7 oz bottle. Aroma is packed with coffee, some nuttiness, wet stone. Pours dark brown to black with a thin collapsing beige head. Taste is bittersweet and roasty with a shit-ton of coffee flavor, some faint dried fruit.

12 oz. can. Aroma is roasted grain, old milk chocolate with a bold amount of coffee. The large coffee influence follows through in the flavor with the aforementioned nuances. Pretty good mouth feel with hidden alcohol. Mild warming after the sip. Well constructed.

12oz can from Tavour (2022 11%). Almost black pour, fizzy, creamy beige head. Instant aroma of coffee greet you at the pop of the top, aroma is pretty much straight coffee also.Taste begins with coffee bitterness, followed by a burst of sweet notes. Coffee bitterness continues throughout without any respite. maybe light chocolaty flavors, but mostly coffee. Even though Im not a coffee drinker, it has enough of an upside for me to get through to the finish.

On tap at GABF. Pours black with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, nice sweetness, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

Batch two - 375 ml bottle - pours a sludgy dark brown, nearly black - nose is heavy on the coffee infusion - like cold espresso - this isn’t so bad in the nose, but in the flavor it is overdone, bitter, abrasive - malt character brings some bitter chocolate, red wine, raisin, but the abrasive coffee smothers this a bit - harsh, with some redeeming qualities.
